What do you believe is possible? What would you like to believe is possible? Aegis is the capacity to choose and to act on your own choices, instead of being carried along by the flow of other people’s agenda. Aegis is your sense of capacity to create and influence the direction of your own life, to discover, choose and implement what you want in your environment, your work, your regular activities and your future. In this book Jules Collingwood describes key combinations of patterns that support the development of readers’ aegis and their ability to discriminate between choice and compliance. She reveals the thinking that informs the choice of patterns and juxtaposes them to create complete interventions within a systemic framework. The patterns are referenced to their creators and in many instances Jules includes a brief history of their development. This material will enable everyone interested in learning more about NLP to experience its possibilities and offer NLP practitioners and trainers the opportunity to extend and deepen their appreciation of the field.

My Lessons with Kumi tells the story of a man who sets out to develop his skills as a presenter and finds that in the process he is on a journey of self discovery. Autobiographical in nature, Pulitzer Prize winner and Emmy Award winner Michael Colgrass has found an innovative way of bringing NLP to the public by incorporating it into this novel.
Colgrass is a long-term student and friend of NLP co-creator John Grinder who, together with Judith DeLozier, created the New Code of NLP in the 1980s. They were concerned that the original or Classic Code of NLP was not being taught in a sufficiently systemic and ecological manner by all trainers. With each chapter in this novel, Colgrass highlights through metaphor a description of NLP in the New Code format. Too see this book on Amazon click here.

This is book is edited from transcripts of seminars presented by co-creator of NLP Richard Bandler using NLP processes based on submodalities. Submodalities are quality distinctions within each representational system. ie. Size, colour, brightness, contrast, dimension, location are examples of submodality qualities that can be discerned with mental pictures. Tone, timbre, volume, speed are examples of submodality qualities in the auditory system. Using your Brain for a Change is a good introduction to the use of submodalities in classic code NLP.
