Pathway to Excellence is a series of one-day seminars for people who want to experience an introduction to NLP and to apply NLP technology to a specific area of life. Each Pathway to Excellence program has a particular theme

What are the differences between people who are very good at considering, creating and achieving desirable futures and those who are not?

Through a combination of presentations, demonstrations, and coached exercises, participants will explore and develop the component patterns that make the real difference when creating attractive and achievable futures.

In addition the seminar will describe the original (classic) NLP and the new-code of NLP so that participants can consider the possibilities of learning and applying NLP to other areas of their lives.

During this one-day program, participants will experience the new-code of NLP applied to the patterns for organising themselves and their worlds to create and attain desirable outcomes.

Participants will experience how to;

  • represent their own differences between wishing, wanting and having something

  • define what you want and what you believe having it will do for you?

  • consider your outcomes, intentions and consequences

  • organize your outcomes to make them well-formed

  • engage your intuition

  • empower your chosen desires with high performance states

  • create a a^??dream beyond the dreama^?? to facilitate your progress

What is NLP?

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is an exciting new field of endeavor, which focuses on studying and building models of human excellence.

Well-trained NLP consultants study people who demonstrate excellence in any possible discipline to learn how these people organize their thinking, feeling, language and behaviour to produce outstanding results. Then they create working models to help others replicate similar skills to achieve comparable results.

Successful models have been created in NLP for many expert applications including personal change for coaching, therapy, learning, business, negotiation, meetings, financial trading, parent skills and relationships.

In our one-day Pathway to Excellence program we shall examine NLP patterns identified within the New Code of NLP and demonstrate how to create desirable futures for ourselves and others, using these patterns.

What is the New Code of NLP

The New Code of NLP is a fundamental reorganisation and recoding of neuro-linguistic programming. It focuses on the interface between conscious attention, the cognitive unconscious and the manipulation of state towards excellence.

In the New Code (as opposed to the original classic code), NLP co-originator John Grinder has outlined and described the distinction between NLP as a model making endeavour and NLP as an application. This distinction ensures practitioners fully understand how to apply NLP patterns to their personal lives while also helping others apply it to their own lives.

This New Code has come about as a result of Grinder realising many brilliant practitioners were adept at helping others apply NLP patterns to their lives to achieve deep sustainable change, but for various reasons failed to adequately apply it for optimal benefit to their own lives. Hence the focus of the New Code on self-application of NLP patterning and appreciation of the difference between form and content.

Effectively the New Code promotes unconscious competence, which may be followed by conscious appreciation. The balance between the conscious and unconscious minds is paramount and this is known as the conscious/ unconscious interface.

The New Code focuses on the detection and utilisation of patterns in the world, with an emphasis on the patterns themselves. A New Code practitioner often creates a process spontaneously in response to a particular context. In the New Code, participants explore psycho-physiological states. They learn to recognise, record and change states. They learn where and how attention is accorded and how that relates to state, perceptual position and context.

Ultimately, the New Code offers a system for learning NLP that fosters the development of systemic wisdom in the practitioner as well as the participant.
