What John Grinder says about Inspiritive"INSPIRITIVE, under the able direction of Jules and Chris Collingwood, represents the finest in training available anywhere at present in the world. These two well-prepared and creative trainers are a model of excellence in their commitment to constantly upgrade the quality of the trainings they offer at the levels of practitioner and master practitioner. There are two unfortunate, however strong, tendencies in the trainings offered both in Australia as well as in other portions of the world. First, a slavish recapitulation in which the training sequence mirrors the historical development of the technology of NLP itself (unfortunately, without recognizing and taking into account modeling as the core activity that defines NLP activity). This is both unnecessary and fails to take into account precisely the advantage of modeling - that is, once a skill set or set of patterns of excellence are made explicit, there is no requirement to recapitulate any portion of the historical development as the model, if well coded, is immediately available without reference to the historical events involved in its creation. Secondly, there is an absurd movement to compete in the marketplace on the basis of money and time as opposed to quality of product. Thus, we find otherwise well-intentioned would be trainers proposing to create well-trained practitioners of NLP in, for example, seven days. This is a most unfortunate development as well-intentioned people attracted by the elegance and effectiveness of the patterns of excellence for which NLP is justly well known, are mislead by such absurd claims and thereby fail to avail themselves of well-organized and well-presented programs that actually train their participants to be effective in implementing the patterns (as opposed to talking about them). INSPIRITIVE and the Collingwoods are the brillant counterexample to these two unfortunate tendencies in the marketplace. They are well-trained in the New Code for NLP as well as the Classic Code and have a fine-tuned sensibility for the key distinction between process and content. They have mastered both codes and have designed a program in which the sequence of presentation is keyed to the learning requirements of the participants, not the historical accidents of the development of NLP. They are demanding of the highest performance of their students and make themselves available to a fault in supporting the mastery of the patterns of NLP. We endorse their work without reservation". -- John Grinder (co-creator of NLP) & Carmen Bostic St. Clair (co-author of Whispering In the Wind) |
