Pragmatic skills for enhancing business negotiations. For any successful business, negotiation occurs on an ongoing basis. Subsequently the ability to excel in negotiations is critical for business results. Developing or enhancing teams ability to negotiate effectively provides a necessary and vital capacity of support for a companies ongoing success.

Pragmatic negotiation skills is a 3 day program for the corporate community, and for any consultant who wants to improve their facility with negotiation. Sales Training

Client centred selling is a new approach to achieving sales that is focused on communicating with and building the relationship with prospective clients. Unlike traditional sales methods based on manipulative strategies such as the 'forced close', the client centred approach is organised around gathering quality information from the prospective client regarding their needs, and tracking their communication patterns and decision making processes. As a result the client centred approach to selling tailors both the product or service and the presentation of the product or service to the clients needs, communication and thinking processes. Executive Coaching

A consulting service for business leaders, managing directors, senior managers, and others in executive roles. It provides an opportunity to discuss sensitive matters in confidence, without impacting the work situation. Many leaders have no access to an agenda free confidante; someone they can relate to as a peer, but who is outside their organisation; who understands business, but is not involved in theirs. Someone who is able to ask searching and intelligent questions to assist them in deciding how to handle sensitive matters. Mediation Services

According to the Law Society of New South Wales, mediation is 'a voluntary process in which a mediator independent of the disputants, facilitates the negotiation by disputants of their own solution to their dispute by assisting them systematically to isolate the issues in dispute, to develop options for their resolution and to reach an agreement which accommodates the interests and needs of all the disputants'.

A mediator directs the process, and guides the parties towards their own mutually acceptable outcomes. A mediator must remain non-partisan at all times, keep confidence with every party, and ensure that each party has equivalent time and attention. The benefits of using a mediator range from providing a referee to ensure a fair hearing, to guiding the parties towards a range of their own creative options for resolving the dispute, to guiding the parties in preventing similar disputes in the future. Dispute is a time consuming activity. Once it is settled, a surprising amount of time becomes available for productive purposes.

Mediation is suitable for settling work place grievances, industrial relations matters, sexual, racial and personal discrimination allegations, customer service matters, disputes with suppliers. It can be as formal or informal as the parties wish, and can take place with just the immediate parties, or their advocates or representatives.

Collingwood Work Style Profile

The Work Style Profile is an instrument for identifying important thinking patterns that people use habitually. The patterns a person uses at work make a difference to the way they respond in their work situation. When identified and described, these attributes can be deployed, trained and extended.

The Work Style Profile highlights how a person thinks in the work situation, not what they think. These patterns, or 'meta programs' remain relatively constant for an individual in a particular context, unless specifically augmented by training. A present or prospective employer who knows how someone thinks at work can provide tailor made conditions that bring out the best in them.

Discover the thinking patterns of your high performers, and teach their patterns to the rest. To replace a valued employee, profile them before they leave, and use it to guide recruitment. With this information list the target thinking patterns as desirable attributes in your recruiting advertisement along with job description and qualifications. Profile applicants as part of your selection process.

Modelling Projects

There is a common belief in Western culture that 'natural' or 'instinctive' talent cannot be replicated, only discovered. Many experts are not conscious of the processes they use to work their expertise. They are often unable to teach the most important parts of it, although they can describe a sequence of results. They find it difficult to describe the specific behaviour that has to happen at the right moment, as they are not conscious of the process. When modelling Inspiritive's consultants elicit an expert's skills and capabilities in enough detail to teach them to someone else. They build a description of the expert's essential mental states and associated patterns of thinking and behaviour, then translate the results into a teachable package.

The Inspiritive consultants can train the recipients directly, or train a member of the client organisation to coach others. Experts are normally willing to participate in these projects, as they become even better at what they do as a result of being modelled. Raise the level of average performers by replicating the most talented in the organisation. Having been modelled, important skills can be retained in the organisation even if the expert has left.

Enhancing Futures Trading with NLP
