Geoff Wade is a graduate of the University of Sydney. He is a Management Consultant with over twenty-five years of experience in Business Performance Management (BPM), Business Performance Improvement, Sales and Marketing. Geoff has a BSc, BE, MBA, and a Graduate Certificate in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Geoff has held a wide range of operations, sales, marketing and line management positions with multi national companies for over twenty years. He has been a management consultant and seminar presenter since 1998.

Geoff combines many areas of expertise to bring a unique perspective to problem solving. He specialises in assisting clients to identify business problems, select the most effective and efficient technology (i.e. methodologies and tools) to address them, and manage the change processes involved in implementation. He also specialises in assisting clients to identify blocks to excellent human performance, and uses Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), cognitive behaviour science, psychology, and his years of corporate experience to address these for rapid and lasting behaviour change and performance improvement.Geoff has been a change agent and new business manager for many products and services either in or supporting banking, government clients, the computer, utility, manufacturing, airline, and airline reservation industries. He brings a unique combination of the strategic and generalist view, proven methods and tools to assist in business change together with a clear understanding of people and specific industry needs.

With his background in computing, engineering, business administration, and psychology together with line management experience he can bridge the gap between business issues, people issues and technology. He has worked on human resource projects that range from driving high speed culture change to performance improvement through structured skill assessment, training, mentoring and coaching; technical projects that cover the whole of the IT systems development life cycle from inception to implementation; business projects that range from mergers and acquisitions through to new product and services business start-ups; and implementation of business performance management systems such as TQM ISO Quality Systems, Baldridge Quality Systems and the Balanced Scorecard. He is best acknowledged for his ability to identify problems, develop strategic and tactical recovery plans, assemble and lead teams for managing rapid change. He has a track record for transforming under performing business units and people, and solving challenging and complex problems.He has the ability to communicate, to build strong relationships, to gather the important information, to see issues from multiple perspectives from the strategic to the detail, to foresee the outcomes, to provide comprehensive unambiguous analysis and interpretation on people, business and technical issues.

Malone Makeup/Character Builders
Geoff is currently helping both organisations to develop business and marketing plans, secure venture capital and launch new products for the Australian, European and US markets. He will provide ongoing management coaching and entrepreneurial advice to the directors during the first year of operation.

Northern Utility Resources/Country Energy
For both clients Geoff conducted a systems analysis and requirements study, developed the business case, then implemented the solution. He wrote the user requirements specification then designed, developed and implemented an enterprise wide balanced scorecard system. He and his team developed, configure and implement an automated measurement system using an on line analytical processing (OLAP) business intelligence software application for decision support.

Blue Mountains City Council
Geoff was engaged to change-manage the transition of BMCC from a traditional Council organisation model to the new policy, purchaser, and provider commercial business model. This role involved project management, culture change, and communication improvement.

Camden City Council
Geoff provided executive and management development and coaching services for the assets division. Services included: Real Time Observation - acting as a 'fly on the wall' observing, noting, charting; then providing feedback and recommendations, strategic conversations and issues management coaching, and skills-based coaching.

Hewlett Packard
Geoff and his team helped HP review and develop effective channel business plans. They reviewed existing marketing strategies and developing new ones specifically defining the activities and outcomes required to successfully implement the strategies. This included developing measurable channel KPI's to measure the implementation of the strategic plans and so enable dealers and HP to track activity and outcomes, and make adjustments if necessary.

ABC Couriers/The Wilderness Society Australia/Knockout Media
For each client Geoff delivered a sales training workshop, coaching sessions, telemarketing script engineering for the Sales and Telemarketing teams, and marketing literature scripting for the Marketing team to increase sales activity levels, sales effectiveness, brochure influence, and conversion ratios. Sales performance improvements ranged between 35% and 250%.
